But here's an unbiased quote:
In a nutshell
I was recently a principal product manager with Amazon and an engineer. Over the years, I've worked in a variety of roles, from software engineering to management consulting to product management. I've worked in startups and large companies, and spent time in three continents. I've built and led teams across geographies to deliver both enterprise and consumer products. In my spare time, I like to read, write, tinker, and travel. Carry on, wanderer, may you find a few interesting things on my online abode. By the way, I designed and hosted this site myself, so blame me for the UX choices.
My wanderings
The professional life
You'll probably recognize some of these companies. Each has taught me something worth carrying forward. I'm grateful for the friendships I've
retained from each of these places. My experiences have been largely positive with an occasional sprinkle of awful. But such is life.
Hobbies. They keep you happy.
Writing: Some of my works (under a pen name) have been read millions of pages on Amazon. Don't worry, nothing controversial. I like science and ancient history and it's along those lines.
Cartooning: Yes, I suppose it's a form of writing but I'd like to give it its own category because why not. I used to cartoon as a kid, and I've rekindled it somewhat in recent years. I'll put a few in here in due time. Here's another unbiased fan quote:
Other stuff: I like traveling (who doesn't) and I've been to many places but there's lot more I haven't seen than I have. I love rain. I enjoy the confounded looks when people try to sell me the horrors of Seattle weather.
